vAibecoder cloud can be connected in two ways:

1. Via the chat tray, when the AI prompts you to connect vAIbecoder cloud.
2. It can be connected using the “SB” button in the top navigation bar.

We will cover both below, starting with the chat tray prompt

Enabling vAIbecoder Cloud via the chat tray #

During a build, the AI assistant may pause and request you connect vAIbecoder cloud before continuing.

It will prompt you like this:

Click “Connect Supabase”

You should see the below window:

If you do not already have a Supabase account, click signup. Enter a username and password to create an account.

Not sure what Supabase is? It is a free service that will help power database, file storage, and authentication. Read more here.

Once you have signed up for supabase, you should receive an email asking you to confirm your account.

Go to your email inbox, locate the email from supabase, and click “Confirm Email Address”:

Once you click “Confirm Email Address” a browser window will open with the following 3 step process:

1. API authorization for the vAibecoder app.
2. Create an organization in supabase if you do not already have one.
3. Reconfirm vAIbecoder authorization with the newly created organization.

First, supabase will request you create an organization, on the screen below, click “Create an organization”:

Step 2, on the screen below, enter an organization name, then click “Create organization”:

Step 3, confirm vAIbecoder access to your organization, click “Authorize vAIbecoder”:

Once you have authorized vAIbecoder, you can move back the the vAIbecoder window, where the conversation tray will update after a few seconds. Below you will see the “Continue” button has now appeared.

This means vAibecoder cloud is now configured. Click continue.

Your app will now continue to build.

At this point, your app now has vAIbecoder cloud enabled for it. It will continue to build, and will have access to all cloud functionality such as database, authentication, file storage etc.

Enabling vAIbecoder Cloud via the menu #

If you want to like vAIbecoder cloud to your project in advance, without waiting for the AI assistant to ask you, you can use the supabase connection button in the top nav menu:

Note, if you have already connected vAIbecoder cloud via the AI assistant conversation, you do not need to also follow this path. The button maybe hidden for you already if supanbase is connected.

Click the SB button in the nav.

You should see the below window:

For the currently open project, vAIbecoder is now connected, and any conversations with the AI assistant will be able to leverage its capabilities.
